A Graveside Memorial Service will be held at Antioch Cemetery, in Somerville, on November 9, 2025 at 3:00 PM, held by her family, Peck Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Ms. Nungester passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025. She was born March 11, 1951, in Morgan County, to Charles Delver Maxwell and Helen Isol Puckett Maxwell.

Debbie loved her family and friends, she loved attending family reunions over the years. She lived in a lot of places and made lots of friends wherever she went. Debbie loved riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle on road trips. During road trips, she enjoyed picking wildflowers and taking pictures of the scenery. Debbie was very creative with drawing and making pictures with wild flowers. Debbie had a special love for her dogs and cats through the years. She was employed by Decatur Morgan Hospital, in the General Admissions Department, prior to her retirement.

Preceding her in death were her parents, two brothers- Ronnie and Derrick Maxwell and a sister- Lydia Maxwell James.

Her family wishes a "Special Thanks" to neighbors, friends, and her Hospice that were a lot of help in her last days.

Husband - Don Salvador,

Sons - Don Hester and
Rex Hester,

Brother - James Maxwell,

Grandchildren - Senay Dutton and
Hunter Hester,

Great Grandchildren - Colin Dutton,
Rylee Dutton, and
Rosalia Hester.
