COOKEVILLE CHAPEL - Deborah Ann Poteet, age 70 of Nashville and formerly of Cookeville, passed away suddenly on Tuesday March 3, 2026, at her residence.
Debbie was born on March 25, 1955, in Cookeville. After graduating from Putnam County Senior High School in 1973, Debbie worked as a nurse's aid at the local hospital in Cookeville. She later moved to Florida and spent some time working as a model.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, George Thomas Poteet and Betty Ruth Gooch Poteet. She is survived by her devoted siblings, Phillip Poteet and his wife Emy, and Penny Poteet-Carey and her husband Chris.
A private urn burial at Bohannon Cemetery will be held at a later date.
