Deborah Anne Pullan, daughter of Charles and Gertrude Foraker, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2026, at the age of 76. Born on April 28, 1949, in New Castle, Delaware, Deborah was the youngest of her siblings and a proud graduate of William Penn High School, class of 1967.
In 1970, she married Joseph Pullan, and together they raised two beloved daughters, Sarah and Rebecca. Deborah had a deep love for her family, which blossomed with the addition of three cherished grandchildren: Kelly, Joe, and Logan. She was known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support, touching the lives of everyone around her.
Deborah dedicated over 30 years of her life to serving the City of New Castle, from 1987 until her retirement in 2017. Her extensive knowledge of the town and its people made her an invaluable asset to the community she loved. In 2018, she and Joe moved to Lewes, Delaware, where she enjoyed her new life filled with friendships, and continued passions such as supporting St. Anthony's Club and cheering on the Philadelphia Phillies.
Deborah is preceded in death by her sister, Trudy, and siblings in law Betty, Walter, Jimmy, Philip, and Richard; she leaves behind her devoted husband, Joseph, as well as her daughters, grandchildren, son-in-law, Andrew, and numerous friends and family who will cherish her memory.
The eulogy services will be held at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 101 W. 6th Street New Castle, DE 19720 on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at 12:00pm. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00am - 12:00pm
Deborah's legacy will live on through the lives she impacted, and her family will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
