Nancy A. Harvey, 83, of Lock Haven passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at her home.
Born January 11, 1943 in Harrisburg, she was a daughter of the late Clinton and Myrtle (Ross) Eckenrode.
Nancy was a 1960 graduate of William Penn High School.
On July 7, 1961, she married Kenneth C. Harvey, with whom she shared 42 years of marriage before his passing in 2004.
Together with Ken, she owned West Branch Electric. She later worked at Avis Building Supply until her retirement.
Nancy was a member of the Keystone Mother of Twins Club where she served as President.
She was also a member of Woolrich Fire Company where she was proud to be one of the first female firefighters and also held the position of Secretary. She served her community as an EMT as well as an EMT Instructor.
Nancy was actively involved in the Senior Center.
An avid NASCAR fan, she traveled to several races each year with her late husband, Ken.
Nancy enjoyed listening to Lou Bernard teach about the history of Lock Haven as well as give presentations on the paranormal.
She was an avid reader.
Nancy loved her family- whether it be telephone calls with extended family members or tea parties with her great grandchildren who affectionately referred to her as "Fancy Nancy" or "Grammy Nancy."
She leaves behind her daughters: Penny (Steve Drothler) Probst of Harrisburg, Bonnie (Douglas) Messersmith of Lock Haven and Connie (Terry) Cryder of Lock Haven; sisters, Sandy Beers of Mechanicsburg and Patty Fassold of Florida; seven grandchildren: Rusty Probst, Brandon Messersmith, Gabby Boatman, Kaitlin Confer, Michael Drothler, Sara Flook and Megan Wheeler; and 13 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026 at 4:30 PM at Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington. Private interment will be at Woolrich Cemetery.
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 3 PM until the time of the service.
Memorial contributions in Nancy's name may be made to the Jersey Shore Public Library through the funeral home.
