Darlene K. Phillips

Darlene K. Phillips, 64, of Linden, passed away unexpectedly at home on February 4, 2026.

She was born in Williamsport on February 21, 1961, a daughter to the late William McLaughlin and Lenore (Saiers) Burkholder.

Darlene was a 1979 graduate of Williamsport High School, and a graduate of the Williamsport Area Community College, now Pennsylvania College of Technology. She was a member of South Williamsport U.M. Church. She was employed for 39 years as a Registered Dental Hygienist at Ecker Family Dental, first with Dr. Robert Ecker then with his son, Dr. Eric Ecker. Darlene cherished the time spent with her husband, children, grandchildren, siblings, extended family, and friends.

Darlene and her husband, Garry A. Phillips, would have celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary May 19, 2026. Surviving in addition to her husband, are their children and their families, daughter; Amber (Ryan) Johnson of Danville, son; Justin (Christina) Phillips of Harrisburg; grandchildren, Rylee and Kaylynn Johnson, and Quinn Phillips; siblings, Vonnie Beamer of Lock Haven, Linda (Mark) Hanna of Berwick, Patricia (Larry) Plants of Trout Run, Charles (Mary) McLaughlin of Linden, and Terry (Dawn) McLaughlin of Virginia Beach, VA.

In addition to her parents, Darlene was preceded in death by her stepfather, Lawrence Burkholder.

The family welcomes friends and family at the Crouse Funeral Home, 133 E Third St., Williamsport PA 17701, from 1:00-3:00pm on what would have been Darlene's 65th birthday, February 21, 2026. A service will follow at 3:00pm with her pastor, Rev. Mark D. Brumbach officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at Twin Hills Memorial Park.
