Loving mom of Donna (Christian) Frank and David (Cheryl) Rawlings. Cherished Gran of Alina and Anja. Dear sister of Elizabeth, Sandra, and John. She was very dearly loved and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Deborah was a faithful and faith-filled Catholic woman in every way, who prayed fervently for others, the Church, her family, and friends. She was a kind, generous, humble, and unassuming woman of profound faith. She faced her long-term fight with Multiple Myeloma and offered up her pain and suffering to save the souls of others.
Deborah's love for her faith carried into her passion for travel. She visited many countries around the world on various pilgrimages with her friends in faith. Some of her most cherished trips include visits to the Holy Land, The Vatican, The Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi, Fatima, Sagrada Familia, and a number of cathedrals in Russia. She shared her love of travel with her daughter who loves to experience the world and faith through her mother's eyes and will continue to do so.
Deborah was a member of the choir at Divine Child for many years; she was an avid pro-life supporter, an iconographer who prayerfully wrote beautiful icons, and a member of various prayer groups.
Visitation Thursday 1 pm - 8 pm with an evening Rosary at 7 pm at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home. In-state Friday 9:30am until the 10 am Funeral Mass at Church of the Divine Child in Dearborn.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the Capuchins and The Shrine of Jesus the Divine Mercy.
