Deborah "Debbie" Ray, age 65, of Hendersonville, TN. passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022. Debbie was born on September 4, 1957 in Nashville, TN. She was the daughter of Chester and Mary Preston Duncan.
Debbie was preceded in death by her father Chester Duncan, brothers Tommy Duncan and Jimmy Duncan; sisters Sherry Duncan Evans, and Betty Duncan Sellers; brother-in-law Robert Sellers.
Debbie is survived by her husband Eddy Ray; sons Mike Ray (Tonya); Josh Ray (Kourtney Miller); mother Mary Preston Duncan; grandchildren Kaidan Ray, Madeline Ray, and Skarlett Ray; nephew Cameron Lindsey; best friend of 60 years Rita Tinnin.
A Celebration of Life for Debbie will be held at 1pm on the afternoon of Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Three Oaks Church in Gallatin, TN. Clay Baggett will be officiating and family and friends will serve as pallbearers. A visitation will be held two hours prior to the start of the service starting at 11am.
Deb loved giving hugs and was always smiling.

I really do not know what to say. Debbie and l spent a lot of time together in high school. She was my best friend. I took her to get her driver's license in my mother's car. I worked at Fleet Transport when l left she took over my job. I wish l had know . I flew into Nashville on Dec.22 and returned on Jan. 1st. She spent a lot of time at my house. Prayers for the family.
