Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Deborah Lynne Ribar, age 70 of Merritt Island, Florida passed away on May 11, 2024 following a battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. Debbie refused to let her illness keep her from doing the things she loved which included spending time with family, including four grandchildren whom she adored. She enjoyed decorating for the holidays, baking and decorating amazing cakes for friends and family and spending time with her friends, especially her beloved Bunco groups. She loved walking on the beach and cherished her fellowship with God.
Debbie was born on June 22, 1953, in Detroit, Michigan but lived most of her life in Florida. She began dating her husband John in high school and married shortly after. They share two sons, John and Bradd. Debbie was an amazing and loving wife and mother who enjoyed caring for her family, which included preparing amazing meals. She was also a great baker, famous for her trademark cakes/icing which were loved a coveted by all who were lucky enough to taste them.
Debbie was a beautiful soul who made friends wherever she went, making a lasting impact on many of those who were lucky enough to cross paths with her. Her lively attitude and infectious smile brightened up the room. She had a positive outlook on life and loved the Lord. She is with Him in Heaven and would want those left behind to not mourn her death but celebrate her life. She will be missed and forever loved!

This beautiful obituary spoke of who Debbie truly was. We were neighbors and friends for 20 years and I always got a slice of every celebration cake she made. She loved her family above all else. She will be missed and thought of often. John, John and Bradd, you were truly blessed with your wife and mother.

I will always have fond memories of Debbie playing Bunco and all of our gals Birthday dinners. Not to mention her fantastic cakes! She was fun, thoughtful and kind. My condolences to her family and loved ones.
