Deborah Lynn Richards

Deborah Lynn Richards, age 69, of Newport, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at her residence.

Born on February 6, 1957, in Tacoma, Washington, she was the daughter of Donald and Betty (Olsen) Richards.

Deborah enjoyed crocheting and watching soap operas, especially General Hospital. She collected china plates, Betty Boop memorabilia, and Fenton glass. She was well known for her cooking. Deborah was employed with Waffle House as a waitress for 20 years, before retiring in 2011.

She loved her family deeply, particularly her grandchildren. Deborah was a true role model of parenting for her family, teaching them by example the values of hard work, perseverance, compassion, and unconditional love. She guided and supported her children with unwavering strength, often through difficult circumstances, yet she always found a way to provide, protect, and nurture.

Deborah was preceded in death by her son, Brent Reynolds; granddaughter, Miracle Marie; father, Donald H. Richards; mother, Betty Jane Richards; and brother, Dennis Stevens.

She is survived by her children, Bronson Reynolds; Leah (Gary Lindley) Reynolds; and Christopher (Jessica) Reynolds; grandchildren, Bryan Reynolds, Jaclyn Reynolds, Kirsten Reynolds, Dylan Bringman, Cristy (Derek) Weaver, Jesse Long, Alex Long, Celeah Dixson, Tyler Reynolds, and Peyton Reynolds; great-grandchildren, Miciyah, Adeline, Malia, and Damon; brother, Danny (Cathy) Richards; and sister, Diane Lehr.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the American Lung Association.
