Deborah Ann Pope Sessoms
Roseboro — Ms. Deborah Ann Pope Sessoms, 73, of Clinton passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2020 at her home.
A private graveside service was held Friday.
Ms. Sessoms was a native of Sampson County, the daughter of James Raymond and Atwood Smith Pope. She was preceded in death by her parents. She was a beautician.
She is survived by her son, James Anthony Sessoms and wife, Patricia of Clinton; daughter, Michelle Simmons and husband, David of Clinton; four grandchildren, Sydney Simmons, Olivia Sessoms, Redden Simmons and Addie Sessoms; sister, Gail Pope Hinton of Middlesex; cousin,Becky Blackmon and husband, Sherrill of Clinton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to White Oak Baptist Church, P. O. Box 537, Clinton, NC 28329 or to the Sampson County Animal Shelter, 168 Agriculture Place, Clinton, NC 28328.
Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro, NC.
