Debbie Sharp passed away peacefully following a long battle with her health surrounded by her family on Saturday September 2, 2023. Debbie was a Contracts Specialist at the Government Printing Office for over 20 years. She was a dedicated worker and loved by many. She loved spending time in Ocean City, MD, shopping, bingo, eating crabs, going to casinos, but mostly she enjoyed spending time with family and her beloved dog Scooter.
Debbie is survived by her son Josh. She is also survived by her brother Jim and his wife Jennifer and her sister Michelle. She was preceded in death by her parents Jimmy and Gloria Sharp (Levinson).
A visitation will be held at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 Craine Highway, Bowie Maryland, 20716 on Thursday September 7, 2023 from 6 to 8 PM and again on Friday September 8, 2023 from 10 to 11 AM. A funeral service will be held Friday September 8, 2023 beginning at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park, 12800 Viers Mill Road, Rockville, MD 20853 at 1 PM.
If you like to speak at the service, we encourage you to say a few words about Debbie. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
