It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Deborah Aline Simon, who departed this life on Monday, April 21, 2025, in her beloved hometown of Eunice, Louisiana at the age of 67. Born on Thursday, July 4, 1957, Deborah was a cherished and devoted member of her community. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church in Chataignier, concluding with a burial at First Baptist Church Cemetery with Brother Rickey Boone.
Deborah was known for her loving and caring nature, always generous with her time for those around her. Her greatest joy was taking care of her family, which she did with grace and unwavering dedication.
She leaves behind her father, Harry Lloyd Guillory; her beloved sons, Toby Simon, Jesse Simon (Jeana), and Rusty Simon; her grandchildren, Tristan Simon, Nicholas Simon, Brandon Simon, Jackson Simon, and Jett Simon; and her great grandchildren, Kaidenze, Roman, Ellie, Noah, and Hanson. Also surviving are her brother, Willie Shane Guillory (Kimberly), and her sister, Myra Johnson. Additionally, she is remembered fondly by her Godfather, Percy Guillory, and Godmother, Maudry Troha, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who were touched by her kindness.
Deborah was predeceased by her husband, Patrick Lawrence Simon; her mother, Mary Smith Guillory; her brother, Harry Shawn Guillory; and her grandson, Blake Ryan Simon.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation at First Baptist Church in Chataignier on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and again on Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM.
Deborah's light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.
