Deborah Lynn Bunkley Snyder, 67, of Brunswick, passed away Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026, at Southeast Georgia Health System, Brunswick Campus.

A service to celebrate Deborah's life will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8, 2026, at Chapman Funeral Chapel with Pastor Bill Alderman officiating. The family will visit with friends immediately following the service.

Deborah was born June 26, 1958, in Brunswick, to Johnny and Stella Warner Bunkley. She attended Glynn County Schools and was a member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church. Deborah was an advertising representative at The Brunswick News, retiring in 2000 after 18 years of employment, to work with her husband John as secretary of Snyder Plumbing Co. Inc. Deborah loved being with her family; it was rare that she was ever seen without her husband John, her daughter, Peggy, her son-in-law, Donnie or her granddaughter, Skylar. Family time was all the time. She also enjoyed cooking and shopping.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years, John Snyder; daughter, Peggy Morales (Donnie); and granddaughter, Skylar Morales (Tyler), all of Brunswick; sister, Donna Gibbs of Middleburg, Florida; sister-in-law, Melissa Bunkley; brother-in-law, Bill Snyder (Angel); nephews and nieces, Jason Gibbs, Andy Gibbs, P.J. Snyder, Lawrence Snyder, Angel Hilburn (Ricky), Lisa Bunkley and Logan Mobley (Caleb); great-nephews, Tyler Gibbs, Johnathan Bunkley, Banks Mobley and Graham Mobley; her best friend, Trudy Blake; chosen daughter, Amy Bullard; and chosen grandchildren, Addison and Bryse Bullard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, JW Bunkley; and brother-in-law, Perry Snyder.

Chapman Funeral Chapel & Crematory has been entrusted with the arrangements.
