Gerald F. "Butch" Snyder, 87, of Lower Macungie Township, passed away on February 15, 2026. He was predeceased by his wife, Barbara E. Snyder, who passed away on August 15, 2025. Lifelong residents of Emmaus, they shared 66 years of marriage where they raised their family.

Butch was a maintenance mechanic at Apollo Metals and Barbara worked for Hospital Central Services prior to retiring. They both enjoyed going to car shows and attending the local summer concerts.

Butch is survived by his daughters, Lisa Wassum (Matt Seilar), Donna Urffer (Gery, deceased), and Trina Grace (Rob); four grandchildren, Brian, Erin, Austin, and Benjamin; and three great-grandchildren, AJ, River, and Paisley.

condolences to the family, worked w/ Butch at Apollo for some years always a riot. Also always enjoyed talking w/ him about classic cars and the ones he worked on.

So very sorry to hear about your mother and father. I remember your mom coming and having me do her hair. Also my mother worked with your mom. And your uncle Charlie was my dad's cousins husband. So very sorry for your loss. May they both rest in peace .
