Frederick Williams Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Homes, P.C. - Emmaus on Feb. 4, 2026.
Frederick "Fritz" Robert Williams, 91, of Emmaus, died February 3, 2026, at home, surrounded by his family. Born July 1, 1934 in Allentown, he was the son of the late Mae Jacobs Williams and Frederick Williams. Frederick was a 1952 graduate of Allentown High School. He was married for 60 years to the late Barbara Williams, who died in 2009. He worked for more than 35 years at Conrail, where he served as a switch operator and was an active member of the National Association of Retired and Veteran Railway Employees. Frederick enjoyed traveling in his retirement, and he and Barbara took many memorable trips including cruises through the Panama Canal and to Alaska. He was an avid bowler, and once bowled a 299 game.

Survivors: He will be remembered with love by his daughter Debra Lynch of Lower Macungie Township, son Daniel Williams and his wife Kathy Lauer-Williams of Emmaus; as well as by grandsons Alec Lynch of Lower Macungie Township and Rhys Williams of Emmaus.

Services: Private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Emmaus.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Luke's Hospice.

Yesterday

Debra and Family,

Even though I have never had the pleasure of meeting Frederick, I have heard many stories. Especially the ones about his casino visits! I am very sorry to hear about this loss. I hope the memories and stories that you all have continue to live on with you all, each and every day. Though no longer here in person, he will always be here with you all in spirit.

Love,
Zach Weitzel
