Deborah Solow Obituary
Age 74, a long time resident of McMurray passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. On Tuesday June 24, 2025.
Deborah was the beloved wife of 50 years to Nelson Solow; who preceded her in death. Loving Mom of Valerie Quigg and Sandra Solow; adored Grandma of Austin Solow and Michaela Johnston; dear Sister of the late Ruth (the late Bill) Halle, Joan (David) Jolliffe, Georgia (Richard) Cook; Sister in Law of Donald (Nan) Solow and Rosalyn Kaplus. Debbie is also survived by a large group of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Ruth Hoover.
Debbie was an executive legal secretary at Consol where she met her loving husband Nelson. For most of her life she was an adoring homemaker. Later in life she would work as a Children's Advocate for NAMI.
Debbie was an extremely "crafty" individual. She enjoyed all sorts of "fiber arts" from sewing, quilting, knitting and crochet to embroidery and cross stitch. She loved her gardening and time outdoors. She could also be extremely handy in doing repairs around her and her daughter's homes.
Arrangements by BEINHAUER. Services will be private. Burial at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies where Deborah will be buried with her husband Nelson.

Debbie was my neighbor for many, many years. I can't believe she is gone, and left us all so soon. I am so sorry for your loss Valerie and Sandy. I hope you will somehow find comfort knowing that your mom and dad are together, watching over all of you each and every day. God bless you.
