We have lost a beautiful person with a generous spirit. I worked with Debbie at Blue Cross. She always gave 150% of herself in all she did. To her family, she was liked, loved and appreciated. She wii be missed.

I grew up in Debbie´s neighborhood. I was frequently at the Check´s household and Debbie was a best friend of mine. She was smart. She was funny. She was an inspiration to me. She would bring me a cake on me birthday to me as we got older. She loved to cook and bake and put the fine details on to make things special. (Much like her mom) As we grew up she was always encouraging. She found humor in things that seemed not so good. It made you feel like you were not alone in your distress. She would poke fun at herself and make you laugh about life´s situations. As years went by I moved away. We would see each other at times. She would have tea at her house and we would talk about old times. We would send Christmas cards to each other. I would always look forward to getting them.
I will miss my good friend and her wisdom and humor. She was a special person.

Way too many wonderful memories of our childhood to list. Wish we kept in touch. RIP Debbie.
