Deborah Jean Teich, 63, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away peacefully in her daughter's home surrounded by loved ones on May 5, 2025. Debbie fought valiantly against the odds of Bulbar ALS.
She was preceded in death by her father Richard R. Teich (93) and her mother Patricia A. Teich (95). She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Miller, her son in law, Brian Miller; granddaughter Caitlin Crandall; her brothers, Robert Teich (Laurie), Richard Teich (Patricia); her sister, Cynthia Shreves (Paul).
Debbie lived simply and loved fiercely. She loved her family, her job, her work family and friends. She was a mother. A mother who worked hard her entire life to make sure her baby girl had everything she ever needed. Who taught the value of love and family far outweighs that of the dollar. A parent who grew into a best friend. A daughter. A daughter who asked nothing of her parents other than company and time. Who chose them for vacation destination and called every day after work to make sure they were ok. A sister. An aunt. A grandma. A grandma who always came to the rescue and spoiled as grandma's do. A leader. A manager who wasn't above selling a ticket, answering a phone. Who put herself in the trenches on the hardest days because being a team was important. A friend. Always there to lend an ear, give a ride, buy a lunch...without question. Even when she was tired. She showed up. Heaven gained an angel and she will be sorely missed.
If you are considering flowers, please send live ones for her daughter to plant in her memory.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Ocean Springs Chapel. Friends may visit one hour prior.
