Deborah “Debbi” Anne Moore Thornlow (August 15, 1951- November 29, 2024), a beloved wife, mother, grandmother (Nonnie), daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love will forever be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Debbi was the devoted wife of Eric Rockland Thornlow, with whom she shared a life filled with love, laughter, and many cherished memories. Together, they raised two extraordinary children, Eric Jackson Thornlow and Anne-Elizabeth Thornlow Hogan (Christopher McMackin Hogan), who were the pride and joy of her life.

Debbi’s love extended to her grandchildren, Elizabeth Grace Hogan and Lucas McMackin Hogan, who brought her endless delight and filled her heart with immeasurable joy. She was a grandmother who celebrated their every achievement. She could be often found at a horse show or the baseball field pridefully supporting her grandchildren.

Born to Lena Elizabeth “Beth” Hulme Moore and Jack Lafay Moore. Debbie shared a special bond with her sisters, Janna Elizabeth Moore Lewis (Steve Elliott Lewis), and Jacqueline Faye Moore White (Ronnie Wayne White).

Debbi will be remembered as a woman who lived her life with grace and devotion to her family and her friends. Her kindness touched the lives of so many, and her laughter lit up every room she entered. Debbi enjoyed sewing, being involved in the Junior League of Spartanburg, and The Gardening Club. Debbi was a member of Fernwood Baptist Church. She was a woman of faith, resilience, and boundless love, whose legacy will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.

A celebration of Debbi’s life will be held Thursday, December 5, 2024 at 1:00pm in Fernwood Baptist Church, 200 Fernwood Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29307.

In honor of Debbi, memorial contributions may be made to The Lewy Body Dementia Association (LBDA), 912 Killian Hill Road, S.W., Ste. 105, Lilburn, GA 30047.

Though Debbi is no longer with us, her spirit and the love she shared remain everlasting. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will be a beacon of comfort and inspiration for generations to come.
