Deborah Wallace-Allen Obituary

Published by Legacy on Sep. 14, 2025.
Deborah Ann (Wallace) Allen, 77, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2025, to be with her Lord and Savior. She was born on August 18, 1948, in Tulsa, to Alvin "Tanner" Wallace and Mary (Baumer) Wallace.

Deborah attended school in Miami, Oklahoma, and graduated with honors from Mt. Carmel School of Nursing in Pittsburg, Kansas. Driven by a lifelong passion for caring for others, she continued her education at Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, where she earned her Master of Nursing and became a Nurse Practitioner. Throughout her career, Deborah provided compassionate care to countless patients, embodying the true essence of healing and kindness.

A devout Christian, Deborah found strength and solace in her faith. She never met a stranger and was known for her generous spirit, always willing to help anyone in need. Her conversations often centered on her passions for religion and politics, and she had a remarkable talent for cooking, with her delicious meals serving as a testament to her nurturing nature. An avid reader, she cherished her quiet moments with a good book.

Deborah's greatest pride and joy was her family. She married Arthur Allen from Little Rock, Arkansas, and cherished their life together.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Arthur Allen; her sister, Comilla Wallace; her nephews, Derek West (Ashley Pyle-West) and Benjamin Pryor; her nieces, Tara White (Jeff White) and Tiffany Mills (Brandon Mills); and her great-nieces, London West, Kristen Twitchel, and Paige Mills. She is also survived by her stepchildren, Aric Allen (Tabitha), Jennifer Johannes (Joshua), and James Morgan Allen (Laura), as well as numerous cousins, extended family members, and friends.

Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin "Tanner" Wallace and Mary Baumer; her stepmother, Vivian Wallace; and two sisters, Janette Wallace-Pryor and Patricia Wallace.

She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for her unwavering love, kindness, and the profound impact she had on the lives of those around her.

Following her wishes, Deborah was cremated. A memorial service will be held at South Creek Church, 3145 West Republic Road, on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 10:00 am.
