Deborah Jean Whiteside, of Greer, South Carolina, was a strong, no-nonsense woman whose life was marked by resilience and perseverance. She faced life head-on and stood firmly in who she was.

She loved to shop and could often be found at bingo, fully focused and enjoying the moment.

She was a woman who had been through a great deal in life, and she carried those experiences with grit and determination. She was no-nonsense in the truest sense - direct, firm and honest. She said what needed to be said, stood on what she believed, and did not bend easily. Her strength was undeniable and those who knew her respected her.

She is survived by her mother, Louvenia Whiteside, two brothers Tommy Whiteside (Tabitha) and Octavious Whiteside (Niya), one sister Elaine Grayson and her only son Adrian Whiteside (Tamika). She leaves behind six grandchildren Bryson, Khamani, Cloe, Arianna, Sole' and Myla, one great grandson Theodore, one fur baby Creama, and a host of niece's nephews, family and friends. Her life was marked by resilience and truth, and her legacy lives on in the strength of the family she loved.

Funeral service will be Monday, December 22, 2025, 12:00 Noon at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Chapel. Public viewing will take place on Sunday, December 21, 2025, from 4:00 PM until 6:00PM at the mortuary.
