Anna Ballenger Obituary
Mrs. Anna Mildred C. Ballenger, widow of Jefferson "Jeff" Ballenger, daughter of the late Shedrick R. and Mamie B. Cheeks passed on Friday, December 12, 2025.
She was a loving and faithful member of St. Mark United Methodist Church.
Left to cherish fond and loving memories of Mrs. Mildred include her sons, Tony W. (Pearlene) Ballenger and Jeffery Ballenger both of Greer, SC; sister, Pearl E. "Tootsie" Walker; along with her grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
Along with her husband Jeff and her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Larry Donald Ballenger; sister Thelma Branham, Queen (Osbey) Griffith, Lucille (Benny) Brockman; brothers, Boyd (Cora B. "Neat") Cheeks, Harold (Freddie) Cheeks and William "Bill" Cheeks.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025, 12:00 Noon at St. Mark United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Public Viewing will take place on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Inc. Please keep the Ballenger family in your prayers. Please take time to sign the online guestbook and share words of encouragement for the Ballenger family to read.
