Deborah L. Woods

Deborah L. Woods, 66, of Mt. Pleasant, formerly of Somerset, died Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at Easy Living Country Estates. Mrs. Woods was born May 29, 1959, in Connellsville, to the late Augustus and Nancy Prinkey Richter Jr. Deborah was a graduate of Turkeyfoot High School, class of 1977. She worked at Dairy Queen as a cake decorator for over 25 years. She attended Somerset Church of the Nazarene and Mt. Pleasant Church of God. She enjoyed volunteering at the Mt. Pleasant Food Pantry, sewing, quilting, crocheting, and baking. Deborah is survived by her loving family: her daughter, Shanna Woods; her grandchildren, Paige Glace (Nolan) and Edward Eperjesi; her siblings, Susan Fisher and David Richter; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Deborah was preceded in death by her husband, Randy A. Woods, in 2017; and by her brother, Scott Richter. In honoring Deborah's wishes, all viewing and services were private for her family. A private interment took place in Somerset County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Mt. Pleasant Food Pantry in memory of Deborah L. Woods.
