Deborah was born in Columbus, Indiana, August 30, 1951, the daughter of Beulah McKimmey and Alford Christian.
A homemaker, Deborah enjoyed watching cooking shows and CSI on television.
Deborah is survived by her four sons, Marty Rothrock and his companion, Linda Waldmann of Columbus, Tom (Paula) Rothrock of Columbus, Scott Rothrock of North Vernon, and Randy Rothrock of Columbus; grandchildren, Derek Rothrock, Jacob Rothrock, Randall Rothrock, Chaz Rothrock, Takyla Rothrock, James (Krystal) Hadley, China (Pete) Garcia, Cody (Richelle) Rothrock, and Lindsey (Tyler) Rothrock; eight great-grandchildren; a niece, Charisa "Crissy" Johnson of Columbus; and her lifelong friend, Debora Johnson of Columbus.
Deborah was preceded in death by her mother, Beulah McKimmey; father, Alford Christian; her lifelong companion, Larry M. Rothrock; one granddaughter; and one great-grandson.
In keeping with Deborah's wishes, cremation is planned. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street; Pastor Ed Boston will officiate.
Family and friends may gather for a time of visitation from 12 p.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions in memory of Deborah can be made to the Bartholomew County Humane Society.
