Debra Arrell

WORCESTER – Debra E. (Rosenberg) Arrell, age 68, died peacefully on Wednesday, October 30th, 2024 at Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester, surrounded by the loving presence of her family and friends.
Born in Worcester, Debra was the daughter of Benjamin and Ruth (Siegel) Rosenberg. Deb settled in Sutton, where she raised her children along with her husband, John A. Arrell.
She worked as a Computer Operator at Digital Equipment Corporation for several years. Deb then developed a true entrepreneurial spirit, owning and operating a floral shop and video store and dabbled in ceramics. Deb had a passion for baking specialty cakes and loved doing it for anyone that asked.
Debra will be lovingly missed and remembered by her children, Melissa Casault and her husband, Joseph of Webster, Shana Matte and her husband, Michael of Uxbridge, and Joseph Russo of Port St. Lucie, Florida; her devoted sister, Rochelle Rosenberg and her partner, Mary Anne Tewksbury of Jamaica Plain; her cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren Tyler Russo and his wife, Ashley, Mandy Arrell, Nicholas Matte, Emily Casault, Megan Matte, Reina Russo and Axil Russo; her nephew, Philip Rosenberg and his wife, Christine, and children Mya-page, Nathan, and Connor; her dear friends, Kathy Schonberg, KathyJoe Milner, Patricia Boutilette and Dara Turco. She was predeceased by her husband, John A. Arrell in 2020 and her brother, Howard Rosenberg in 2003.
Family and friends will gather to honor Debra's life at a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 1st at Holy Society Cemetery, Havana Road, Leicester. Arrangements are under the care of Miles Funeral Home of Holden. Memorial Observance will be announced.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
