SILVIS-Debra A. Boone, 67, of Silvis, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at Calvary Church, 4700 53rd Street, Moline. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Monday, October 10, 2022, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline. Burial will be at Rose Lawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Handicapped Development Center, Davenport.
Deb was born on November 8, 1954, in Rock Island, the daughter of Lawrence and Vennetta (Bush) Stawicki. She married James R. Boone, on June 19, 1976, in Moline. He preceded her in death on March 27, 1997. She previously worked as a supply clerk for the Rock Island Arsenal Commissary, retiring after 30 years. She later worked as an administrative assistant for the Handicapped Development Center. She was active with Skills Inc. in Moline. Deb was a member of Calvary Church of the Quad Cities and was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan.
Survivors include her sisters, June Bonneville, Burnsville, MN, Carol Cline, Florida, Wanda (Kerry) Steward, Coal Valley; brothers, Sam (Jill) Stawicki, East Moline, Tom Stawicki, Rock Island; stepsister, Brenda Newman, Colona; stepbrother, Bruce Peters; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brothers-in-law, Charles Bonneville and Roger Newman.
In her own words: I would like to thank all my family and friends for all you have done for me, if it wasn't for you I wouldn't have been the person I was. LOVE YOU and GO VIKINGS!!!!
