Debra Faye Bozeman, 65, passed away May 7, 2025. Debbie, as she was affectionately known, was born April 17, 1960 to Buen and Mattie Mae Jackson. Debbie was a member of Clearwater Assembly of God in Wagarville where she enjoyed sharing her love of her Lord and Savior. She was an avid reader who devoured romance novels especially Nora Roberts and Daniel Steele. Debbie was an avid fisherwoman with a natural talent. Debbie made many friends during the years she owned the Pit Stop on Forest Ave in Jackson. While Debbie loved each member of her family dearly, she had a special place in her heart for her dear dogs, Bitzy and Yoda, and an unmatched connection with her beloved niece, Nikki. Debbie was definitely a character who left innumerable happy memories for her loved ones to cherish.
Debbie is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Wilda Finley and Mary Ellen Jackson; brother, Jamie Jackson; and nephews, Shane Presnall and Dylan Ruck.
She is survived by her husband, Stephen J. Bozeman; children, Walter "Ron" Moore (Kim) and Misty Moore; sister, Marilyn Porter; grandchildren, Stephen Barber, Addison Moore, Collins Moore, Cody Bohannon, and Brook Bohannon; nieces, Nikki Roberts (Anthony) and Lynn Ruck (Billy); nephews, Anthony Presnall and Dewayne Baugh; 6 great nieces, 2 great nephews, one great-great niece and one great-great nephew.
Services will be held Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at Clearwater Assembly of God in Wagarville. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral service begins at 12-noon with Bro. Jimmy Butts officiating. Interment will follow in Trinity Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Billy Ruck, Anthony Roberts, Dewayne Baugh, Michael Sellers, Anthony Presnall, and Toby Kinman. Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Bozeman.
