Debra Burton Obituary
Debra was born February 10, 1954, in Dallas, Texas, the daughter of John William and Dorothy Anne Miller Currie.
Debra worked as a janitor for Columbus North High School later in life. She loved going to flea markets and camping. Traveling with her companion, James was one of her favorite things to do, however, playing bingo was the perfect way to spend her free time. She will be deeply missed by those that knew and love her.
Survivors include her longtime companion, James Daniels; daughter, Stacy Knighten, both of Columbus; son, Perry Glenn Simmons, Jr. of Kentucky; six grandchildren; brother, Clifton Currie of Kemp, Texas; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers and two sisters.
In keeping with the family's request, cremation will take place no other services planned at this time.
