Debra Ann Caldwell, 64, passed away peacefully with her loving husband next to her and her daughter close by. She was born in Mansfield, Ohio on February 28, 1960 to Samuel David Goldsmith and Ginger Mae Echols-Goldsmith.

Debbie was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, perseverance, and faith in God. She was very giving of her time, money, and talents, but when it came to her family she was committed and devoted to them. Like her father, Samuel Goldsmith, she was trustworthy, honest, and lived with integrity. She had an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and the word of God. She could be found reading a book, studying, listening to sermons/messages, watching or listening to something educational, and lecturing her child and her friends. Besides learning about health and God, she was interested and talented in remodeling homes alongside her husband and interior design. One of her hobbies included searching for and restoring antiques. She loved oak wood; you could always find solid wood furniture in her home.

Debra was preceded in death by her father, mother, brother Melvin Smith, and her husband's children Terrance Caldwell and Cheryl Caldwell Bradley.

Debra is survived by her husband Curtis Caldwell, sisters Darlene Smith and Shirleen Goldsmith, her brother Michael (Rhonda) Vance, her daughter Latasha Morgan Bah, and her husband's children Curtis (Randy) Caldwell and Troy Caldwell. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will miss her. Her legacy will carry on forever through her daughter who learned about having faith in God through her example.

Debra had very strong values and was deeply loved by those who were blessed to interact with her. Those who knew her will remember how she loved helping others, her honest advice given in real-life situations, and her love for sweets and snacks.
