Miss Debra Chapman , age 66 departed this life on August 24, 2014, in Fort Sanders Hospital, Knoxville, TN. She was a person with a special sweetness and a smile. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mollie Chapman, father, Howard Chapman, infant brother Lloyd Edward Chapman. She is survived by her sister: Barbara Wilson, Wartburg, TN Brothers: Sammy J. Chapman; Oliver Springs,TN, James Dean (Tammy) Chapman; Maryville, TN. Nieces: Pamela Wilson Byrd and Amy Chapman Vogel Nephews: Mark Wilson, Michael Wilson, Marshall Wilson, Sammy J. Chapman, Jr., and Brandon Chapman Great Nieces: Lauren Byrd, Lindsay Byrd, Adriana Wilson, Autumn Wilson, and Emery Vogel and Great Nephew, Cade Vogel. Debra graduated from Coalfield High School in 1967. She also attended and graduated from TN School of Beauty. She worked and retired from Red Kap in Wartburg She was a great "MOM" to all of her nieces and nephews, she treated each one very special. Debra could always find something to laugh about or make you laugh. Debra loved her family dearly, she listened so patiently to everyone's problems and done her best to help. She was a very caring, selfless person She will be sorely missed by all that knew her. Debra Chapman was indeed a rare jewel. The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 27 from 5:00 to 7:00pm at Schubert Funeral Home Wartburg. A Celebration of her Life will follow at 7:00 pm with Kenny Rains, officiating. Burial will be Thursday August 28, 2014 at 11:00am at the Petros Cemetery.
