Debra Leigh Condello

Debra Leigh Condello, 65, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away on Thursday, February 19th, 2026. She had a brilliant mind and was never satisfied with her understanding of the world around her. She always sought to gain a greater perspective of individuals, human nature, the world and our place in it.

She often spoke of her time spent in Flagstaff, AZ, walking her dog through the woods and reflecting on nature and the unique peace it brought her. She dreamed of moving somewhere with lots of trees and open space to take in animals and get away from the noise and fast pace of city living.

She loved reading all genres of books. Fantasy, astrology, religion, history and philosophy books could be found lying around on any surface in her home. She enjoyed learning about haunted places and the supernatural, getting lost in the complex worlds of adventure video games, sketching, and playing guitar.

Incredibly compassionate, Deb had a soft spot for animals and often took in strays and nursed injured animals. She had multiple German Shepherds over the years, and numerous cats including her beloved Margaret Gray she is now reunited with.

She is survived by her children Tim, Lisa, Chris, Ethan, and Michelle; her grandchildren Ava, Zoë, Madeline and Sebastian; mother Barbara; and brother Eric.
