Debra K. Darger, age 68, passed away peacefully on October 19th 2023, surrounded by her children at her home in South Jordan, Utah. Debbie was born on January 29th, 1955, to her parents Richard Lyman Kunz, and Janice Bernice Kunz in Salt Lake City, Utah. Debbie spent her early years growing up in
the wilds of Montana, and would always glow whenever she shared memories about that time of her childhood. After moving back to Utah some years later, Debbie married David Mc Darger on May 5th 1978 and raised her four children (as well as many others which weren't hers).
Debbie was always the embodiment of
unconditional love, and made you feel special no matter who you were. She loved traveling and would plan a lot of her trips with her sister and best friend, Jeanette, who also shared her obsession with anything lighthouse or beach related.
Debbie valued her family most in life and
is survived by her four children; Angela,
Richard, Sean, Jeanette, and her cat Bella. Her grandchildren who she loved very
much; Jesseca, Corryne, Kristina, Samantha, Elijah, Drake, Parker, Ayden, Noah, Siosaia (Saia). And her cherished great-grandchildren; Jimmy, Jacob, and Kamora. As well as siblings; Rebekah, Jeanette, Heber, Linnea, Michael, and Viroque.
Preceded in passing by her parents Richard and Janice, her sister Vilate, David (Mc), and various other family members who always held special places in her heart.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, October 30th, 2023 at Wheeler Farm inside the Giant Barn, 6351 South 900 East Murray, UT from 6:00-9:00 PM. Please join us to celebrate Debbie's life.
