Debra "Debi" Lee (Skrapates) Sutherland

Debra “Debi” Lee (Skrapates) Sutherland, 63, of Camp, Arkansas, passed away from this life on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Debi was born to Gust and Judith Ruth (Sturm) Skrapates on June 4, 1960, in Melrose Park, Illinois.  
  
Debi was united in marriage to Dennis Ray Sutherland on April 14, 1978, in Camp, Arkansas and to this union two sons were born. Debi spent her working years as a Doctors Assistant for about twenty years. Debi loved her family, especially being a Nana. She loved being outdoors, gardening, going to the lake, camping, fishing, and crafting. She also loved music and sports, especially the Razorbacks and Cardinals. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, friend, and was of the Christain faith. 

 

Debi leaves to mourn her passing, husband, Dennis Sutherland of Camp, Arkansas; son, Eric Sutherland and wife Vikki of Salem, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Marcus Cagle (Sammie Jo), Cedric Cagle (Brooklyn), Evan Cagle, Emma Sutherland, Bentley Sutherland, Allie Sutherland, and Hayden Sutherland; two great grandchildren, Rhett Cagle and Emmy Cagle; brother, Thomas O’Donnell of Salem, Arkansas; brother-in-law, Wayne Hutson of Violet Hill, Arkansas; three sisters, Kathleen O’Donnell of Conway, Arkansas, Mary Estes of Salem, Arkansas, and Ruth Skrapates (Randy) of Roanoke, Texas;  and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her son (Joshua Sutherland), parents (Judy Floyd and Skoval Floyd), sister (Susie Hutson), and Grandson (Peyton Fife). 

 

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, April 5, 2024, at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. John Hodges officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. until time of service on Friday, April 5, 2024, at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas. Honorary pallbearers will be Rodney Sutherland, Angie Sutherland, Ronnie Sutherland, Evan Cagle, Brandon Deese, and Wayne Hutson. Memorials may be made to UAMS or the Wounded Warrior Project. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
