Debra Margaret Hamilton ObituaryDEBRA MARGARET HAMILTON, 70 of Whiteford, MD, passed away suddenly in the morning of Sunday, April 13, 2025 with her beloved husband at her side. Married on November 1, 1986, she was the cherished wife of Michael Dean Hamilton, and they had shared 38 wonderful years of marriage.
Born on March 6, 1955 in Baltimore, MD, she was a daughter of the late August Brodowsky and Margaret Mary (Sestak) Brodowsky and a 1973 graduate of Overlea High School. Known as Debbie, she had worked for Verizon Communication for 33 years, retiring 2007. Debbie loved horses and animals; reading, working coloring apps on her phone and enjoyed Chinese food. A loving woman at heart, she cherished the times with her family and was devoted to her granddaughters. Debbie and her husband attended Bethany Baptist Church in Airville where they were headed on the morning of her passing. Debbie loved her Lord, had a kind spirit and was devoted to family and friends.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, April 17th from 6 – 8 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA. Graveside funeral services will be held in New Bridge Cemetery, 32 Wyatt Lane, Colora, MD at 11 a.m. on Good Friday, the 18th. Please park in the church lot and gather at the grave for the service. Her minister, Pastor Patrick Scarborough will officiate.
