Eileen S. Hamilton

Eileen S. Hamilton born April 18, 1942 departed this life on Wednesday – February 11, 2026 at the Hazard A.R.H. being 83-years old. Eileen was born in Viper, Kentucky the daughter of the late Dan Hamilton and the late Artis Cornett Hamilton. Other than her parents, Eileen was also preceded in death by two sons: Marvin Engle and Mervin W. Engle; brothers: Mervin Hamilton, Marvin Hamilton, Darrell Hamilton, Bonnell Hamilton, Wallace Hamilton, Henry Lafeyette Hamilton, and Willie Monroe Hamilton; sisters: Glenna Adams and Velta Farler; and her beloved pet, Tear Drop. Eileen was a retired Post Master for the United States Postal Service.

Eileen S. Hamilton leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: sons: Billy Darrell Hamilton & wife Maria of Manassas, VA and David Vance Engle of Jackson, KY; siblings: Rebecca Engle of Viper, Brenda Elam of London, Daniel S. Hamilton & Bonita of London, KY; grandchildren: Tabatha, Danny, Jennifer, Jessica, Jaime, Nicholas, Kirstie, Danielle; a host great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and special friends who she dearly loved.

Funeral Services for Eileen S. Hamilton will be conducted on Monday – February 16, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Danny Dixon officiating. The Interment will follow in the Ben Cornett Cemetery located at Viper, Kentucky. The Visitation will be on Sunday – February 15, 2026 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. The following will serve as pallbearers: Brandon Engle, Christoper Clontz, Alec Hamilton, Justin Caudill, Joey Caudill and Caleb Helton.
