Debra Jean Higgins

Debra Jean Higgins, age 65, of Mantachie, MS, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2026 at the NMMC- Tupelo, MS. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Wofford Cemetery. Rev. Joseph Kennedy to officiate the services. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00pm until service time at 2:00pm.

Debra was born on July 29, 1960 in Sulligent, AL to the late Cecil Dozier and the late Polly Johnson. She attended Amory Schools. Debra was the owner and operator of Debbie's Beauty Shop in Amory, MS. She also ran a store in the Cason Community, McCullar Grocery. She loved flowers and enjoyed making different arrangements with them. She treasured her time with her grandchildren the most, spending as much time as she could with them making beautiful memories. Her bright spirit and loving heart will always be cherished and never forgotten. Debra was a member of Abundant Life Church in Hamilton, MS.
