Debra Hill Obituary
Ms. Debra Lane “Debbie” Hill, age 54, of Burlington, was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 22, 2023 at her residence.
A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late Ronald Lee Hill and the late Patricia Ann Summers Hill. She retired after working several years in the textile industry. Debbie loved caring for her flowers, trying out new restaurants and was an avid movie buff, but she mostly loved spending time with her grandchildren, who she adored.
Ms. Hill is survived by her two daughters, Jessica Hill (Mark Simmons) and Stephanie (Isidro) Magaña; three grandchildren, Crystian Olalde, Cecilia and Victoria Magaña; five siblings, Shelia Hill, Kenny (Sue) Hill, Penny Eastwood, Danny (Lorie) Hill and Ronnie (Angela) Hill; and eleven nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Cindy Figueroa.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Jason Simmons. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
