Debra S. "Debbie" Brown-Howard

Debra S. Brown-Howard was called home to glory on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, while surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Tomahawk, WI, Debbie was one of those people who radiated happiness and her brilliant smile reflected that (even when she would be whispering a sarcastic comment to those closest to her!)

A lover of animals and nature since the day God breathed life into her lungs, she was always carting some critter home from childhood to adulthood. She was happiest being outside enjoying the beauty in nature whether horseback riding or kayaking with her husband Phil at her side or with her grandchildren collecting bugs, tadpole hunting or having water gun fights.

Debbie, self-admittedly, was the world's biggest introvert. She loved being home puttering around the house, taking her dog Monty for long walks with Phil or relaxing with a cup of apple cider and a coloring book. Debbie and her sister, Sandy would have a weekly "thriftister day", searching the shops and influencing one another to haul the treasure home whether it was needed or not.

Debbie's greatest joy in life was her family. She doted on her children and grandchildren and would never fail to say how proud she was of each and every one of them whether it was an honor roll achievement, a new business venture or learning how to ride a bike, every achievement no matter how big or small was important.

Survivors include her father, John "Norman" (Irene) Brown, Jr.,

her mother, Marcia (David) Stahmer

her husband, Philip Howard,

her daughters, Ashtyn (Derek) Eberl, and Taira Petersen

her son, Justin Howard

her sister, Sandra (Keith) Lundmark

her brothers, Kurt Brown, and Jacob Baars

her grandchildren, Emma, Bodhi, Gracie, Jayden, Mckayla, Harley, Isabella, Olivia, Jakob, and Jude.

She is further survived by 2 nieces, Chanell (Garrett) Nutter and Myranda (Codi) Strassman-Jordan

It was Debbie's wishes not to have a service. Her family will have a small gathering together in the spring.
