Debra Jean Klein (Neugebauer, Scott) passed away on February 24, 2026 into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior surrounded by her loving family following a recent illness.
Deb was born September 7, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois to Verne and Evelyn Neugebauer. They relocated to Akron, Ohio in 1955. She graduated from Kenmore High School in the class of 1969. She retired as a Medical Biller from Praxair in 2012.
She was a devoted mother to her children Rachele Rosetti (Mike) and Ryan Scott (Jill), and Memaw to her three grandchildren, Christian Rosetti, Angelina Rosetti, and Nollen Scott. In addition, she is survived by her sister and best friend Ann Burks (Bob), and brothers Ed Neugebauer and Vernon Neugebauer (Paula) along with many nieces and nephews, family and friends. She also leaves her lifelong best friend Cheryl Withnell.
She enjoyed listening and dancing to music, as well as bowling, playing cards, reading (especially books sent to her by Fran), eating Mexican and drinking margaritas, but most of all being with family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her son Ryan in 2024. They are together again and what a celebration that must have been.
Per Deb’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a celebration of her life will be planned for a later date.
