Debra Mastrangelo

Debra Mastrangelo, age 60, of Forest City, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at the Hospice House of Rutherford County. Born on Wednesday, February 8, 1956 in Burlington, Vermont, she was the daughter of Marion Alexander West who resides in Naples, Florida and the late Raymond Ernest West. She was a graduate of Winthrop High School, class of 1974 and a graduate of Katherine Gibbs Business School. She worked as an executive secretary for the First National Bank of Boston for several years and was of the Episcopal faith. Debra was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. Her passion was taking care of her family. She also enjoyed shopping and was an avid golfer. Survivors include her loving husband of thirty-nine years, Steven M. Mastrangelo; two sons, Steven Michael Mastrangelo II of Naples and Michael Anthony Mastrangelo of Forest City; one daughter, Andrea Lynne Healy and husband, Keenan of Naples; three brothers, John West of Euclid, Ohio, Raymond West and wife, Ellen of Beverly, Massachusetts and Karl West and wife, Lara of Dennis, Massachusetts. She is also survived by one grandson, Dominic Joseph Healy and a host of loving friends and a number of incredible and loving extended family members. A memorial service will be held locally on a later date as well as services in Boston, MA and Naples, FL.
