Debra Sharon McGriff

Debra Sharon Bonds Shoemaker McGriff, age 72, passed away September 2, 2023, at UAMS in Little Rock. She was born March 17, 1951, to the Late Orville Dick Bonds and Ann Shoemaker Thames, in Greenville, Mississippi. Debra was the wife of 45 years to Danny Ray McGriff. She loved to dance and loved her animals but she most loved to work in her garden where she raised beautiful flowers.
Debra is preceded in death by her parents and her grandparents, who raised her, Ocie and Manuel Shoemaker.
She is survived by her husband Danny; three children, Hue Lawrence Wade of Jackson, Mississippi, Theresa Wade of Springdale, Arkansas, and William Chadwick "Chad" Wade of Selma, Arkansas; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Debra's visitation will be Thursday, September 7, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. at the Selma Baptist Church in Selma, Arkansas. Funeral Services will follow at 10:00 a.m. also in the church. Burial will be in Selma Cemetery in Selma, Arkansas.
