Debra was a woman of resilience, humor, and heart. After leaving school for family reasons, she later proudly earned her GED. Debra had a deep love for animals, treating them with the same compassion and warmth she extended to everyone she met. She found joy in gardening, crafting, and spending time with family and friends. Her adventurous spirit shone brightly in her love for rollercoasters and amusement parks, where she never missed a chance to feel the thrill of the ride.
Known for her friendly nature and big kind heart, Debra was a true people person, having never met a person she didn't like. She had a gift for making others feel welcome, seen, and heard. Her laughter, kindness, and down-to-earth spirit brought light into the lives of many.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
She leaves behind her 4 daughters, Sherry Michele Ryan (John), Gloria Jean Seiberling (Scott), Christine Naomi Newton, and Linda Suzanna Smith; her 1 brother, David Leahy; her 2 sisters, Helen Hill and Jennifer Leahy; 9 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
