Debra Miller Obituary
November 29, 1966-August 30, 2023
Debra Lyn (Kingsbury) Miller, 56, of New Plymouth, ID passed away on August 30, 2023 at River's Edge Rehabilitation Center in Emmett, ID.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Biddulph Kingsbury and Gloria Galbraith Packer, and her second mother, Ruth Palmer Kingsbury.
Debra was born in Salt Lake City, UT on November 29, 1966, the first of three children to Robert and Gloria. She moved to New Plymouth, ID in 1982 as a teenager, and graduated from New Plymouth High School in 1985. She moved back to Utah after graduation, where she met her husband, Kevin Miller. Kevin and Debra were married on June 15th, 1990, in the Jordan River Temple. Kevin and Debra settled back in New Plymouth and had two daughters, KyLeigh and Kelsey.
Debra loved music. In high school, she participated in swing choir, traveling to competitions with her best friend Leisa. She also enjoyed playing the piano, a passion she maintained throughout her life.
Debra was a light to all that knew her. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she fulfilled many callings, her favorites being pianist and chorister, working with the primary children.
Debra was a spitfire, and everyone loved her sassy spirit and witty comebacks. Debra loved watching HGTV and the Food Network, growing flowers in her yard, and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her beloved husband Kevin Miller, sister, Linda Gibbs, brother, Paul (Joella) Kingsbury, two daughters, KyLeigh Miller and Kelsey (Sven) Alskog, grandson Zane Alskog, and many nieces and nephews.
Debra's family would like to thank River's Edge Rehabilitation and Living Center and Horizon Home Health and Hospice for the kindness and care that they provided.
Her funeral will be Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at the New Plymouth LDS Church building, with a viewing from 9:00am to 9:45am, and funeral services beginning at 10am. A graveside service for the family will be at Park View Cemetery in New Plymouth, ID following the conclusion of the funeral services.

I got to know her in our church... my daughters loved singing "A Child´s Prayer" but she hadn´t learned to play it at that point. She had many opportunities to play it in the next few years. She was lao a good friend!
