Debra Marie Pasdik, age 65, of Chillicothe, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2025 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Debra was born on February 11, 1960 in Derry, New Hampshire to the late Roland Charles Scheid and Dorothy Lee (Allen) Crawford. She married John Patrick Pasdik on February 24, 1983. He preceded her in death on August 23, 2022.

Surviving are her children, Amy Jo Petersen of Chillicothe, IL, Misty Dawn Pasdik, and Trisha Lynn (Charles Bochar) Pasdik of Lacon, IL; her grandchildren, Meghann Lee (Levi Daugherty) Pasdik, Jacob Bryce Smith, Brooklynn Elizabeth Smith, Quentin Michael Pasdik-Bochar, Ashlynn Michelle Leeper, and Austin Michael Pasdik-Bochar; and three great-grandchildren, Riley Joe Daugherty, Octavia Elizabeth Daugherty, and Easton Ray Smith. Also surviving are two brother, two sisters, and her nephew, Jeremy Allen Miller.

Deb was loved by so many and touched so many people's hearts. She became Mom to many over the years, whether it be one of her children's friends, boyfriends, spouses, etc. A few honorary children that considered Deb, Mom are Lacy Ripley, Stephanie Russell, Felicia "Flo" Layne, Charli Carr, Tadd Petersen, David "Wolfie" Adams and many more.

Debra was the librarian at the Lacon Library for many years. She enjoyed, gardening, crafting, camping, boating and spending time with her family.

Cremation rites will be accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe.
