Debra "Debbie" Marie Perrine went peacefully to her eternal rest with her Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at approximately 2:30 in the morning after a long battle with cancer. She was born on June 8, 1956, to Erwin and Patricia Goller, at the Colorado Springs Army Hospital. She started her special life 3 months premature, weighing in at just 2 pounds. At the time, and even 16 years later, she was the smallest baby born at that hospital to survive.
Debbie was tender-hearted and warm, and her kiss was an extension of her tender heart. She married her love, Dan, on June 26, 1976. He was hers and she was his. She had said that Dan made her melt, and she melted his heart. They loved and enjoyed 47 years together and were blessed with 3 children and their first grandchild is expected in October.
Debbie had a heart for her Savior and served Him with love to all who knew her, especially kids. For 20 plus years, Debbie served as Director of Counselors at a crisis pregnancy center. She had the wonderful gift of making young people feel special and seen. She could see the little child inside "just trying to make it" and she made sure to let each of them know they were doing just fine. She was amazing and will be missed.
She is survived by her husband, children: Jenny & Jimmy Maas, Nathan and Jason; her bonus kids: Ryan, Eric, Tara, Brylie, Brittany, Ben, Corri, Laura, Kyle and Asher; and a lifetime of friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 22nd at Cornerstone Presbyterian Church in Delafield. Visitation will begin at 3:30pm with service at 5pm and dinner to follow. In lieu of natural flowers, due to allergies, the family asks that you bring a single yellow silk rose, Debbie's favorite flower.
