Thomas C. "Tom" Bauman

Thomas C. Bauman, 75, passed away on December 31, 2025.

Born on May 2, 1950, in Burlington, Wisconsin, Thomas was the eldest of six children born to Dorothy Maas Bauman and the late Charles Bauman. From an early age, he carried the steady, responsible nature that would define much of his life.

An engineer by profession, Tom built a career rooted in precision and problem-solving. He was highly organized and a natural planner, always thinking ahead and ensuring that details were carefully considered. He approached both his work and personal life with practicality, patience, and a readiness to help. If something needed fixing or someone needed support, he was there without hesitation.

Though he may not have always said much, Tom thought deeply about others. He remembered birthdays and carefully kept track of them, making sure those he loved felt acknowledged and important. His care was often shown in quiet, consistent ways.

Tom is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer Bauman; his sons Thomas Bauman Jr., father of Ryan, Selene, and Tessa, and Daniel Bauman; his step-sons, Vincent (Jemimah), parents of Aiden, Asher, and Annabella, and Emmanuel (Pamela), parents of Emma and Elena; his mother, Dorothy Maas Bauman; and his siblings, Susan (Bradley), Kathleen, Deborah, Joseph, and Christopher (Laurie).

He leaves behind children and grandchildren who will carry forward his steady presence, generous spirit, and thoughtful care for those around him.

Tom appreciated life's simple pleasures - a beer during a meal, long walks, long drives, and traveling to new places. He was known for his generosity, reliability, and quiet willingness to lend a hand whenever it was needed. His strength and steady love will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on May 2, 2026, at 3:00 PM with a Memorial Service at 5:00 PM at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 380 Bluemound Road, Waukesha, WI 53188. The family warmly invites all who knew Tom to join in honoring and remembering his life.
