Debra I. Phillips was born in Pittsburg, PA on November 26, 1944. To the late Thomas "John Ayers" and Anna "Flowers" Ayers. Debra departed this life on Thursday March 6th,2025 at 9:30am.
Proceeded her in death are her (Parents) Thomas Ayers and Anna Ayers, (Brother) Alfred Ayers "Al" and (Gerri Ayers),(Brother) Franklin "Douglas" Ayers, (Brother) Robert "Sunny" Ayers, (Sister) Nola Hobson and (Oscar Hobson), (Son) James "Jamie" Ayers, (Daughter) Dawn Imes, (Daughter) Tracy "Dion" Ayers, and grandson Cornale "Dajuan" Ayers.
Debra was the fifth child born into a union of ten children, The Family moved to Detroit, Michigan where she graduated from Southeastern High School in the 1960's. Detroit Michigan is also where she accepted Christ in her life at the Clinton Street Bethlehem Temple Church.
Debra went on to raise six children in Detroit, Michigan with the help of her mother and father.
She later moved to Columbus, OH in the 80's, Where she took on a variety of jobs while she took classes and graduated to be a nurse's assistant.
She was surrounded by lots of family, friends, and love during her passing. She leaves to celebrate her life her Children Carmen Williams, Rodney Ayers (Nicole Ayers), and Shannan Johnson, her Siblings Gil Ayers, Gerald Ayers, Donna Ellison (Ronnie), Gail Browning (Harold), Dorothy "Dolly" Hutchinson (Freddie), (12) Grandkids, (10) Great Grand Kids, and (4) Great-Great Grand Children, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
