Debra L. "Watts" Plaszewski

Worcester – Debra L. (Watts) Plaszewski, 61, of Worcester, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully in her home on Thursday, December 18, 2025.

Debra was born in Charlotte, NC daughter of the late Harvey A. Watts and Ethel A. (Sperry) Letendre. She is predeceased by her first husband, Duane Smith who died in 2011 as well as two brothers.

Mrs. Plaszewski is survived by her loving husband, Robert Plaszewski; a son, Derek Watts of Worcester; four daughters, Naja Smith of Worcester, Darcy Smith of Cadillac, MI, Chandra Nichols of Worcester and Allison Plaszewski of Sarasota, FL; three grandchildren, Marcus Smith, Joshua Romeo and Gage Watts and a brother and sister.

Debbie was dedicated to her children and was always there for them. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she never passed up on an opportunity to be with them. She enjoyed listening to music, especially her favorite artist, Prince. Debbie could often be found in her flower garden and all who knew her, realized that the Christmas season was her absolute most favorite time of the year.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, December 22, from 5 to 7 PM in the Alfred Roy & Sons – Henry Funeral Service Memorial Chapel 33 Ward St. Worcester. Memorial contributions in memory of Debbie may be made to the Parent / Professional Advocacy League 18 Lyman Street Westborough, MA 01581.
