Debra Lynn Richmond, 71, of Manchester, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at her home. She was born on July 1, 1954, in Sterling, Illinois, the daughter of Calvin and Mary (Cisketti) Triggs. Deb was raised in Rock Falls, Illinois, and was a 1972 graduate of Tampico High School. Deb then attended Sauk Valley Community College.
On August 3, 1974, Deb was united in marriage to Lawrence "Larry" Richmond at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sterling, Illinois. Two sons were born to this union. The family lived in Tampico, Appleton, Wisconsin, Washington, Iowa, and settled in Manchester for the past 24 years. Deb worked at several jobs over the years including working at schools, Public Health, and Gritton Tax Service.
Deb was an active member of First Lutheran Church. She volunteered many hours at schools and the Good Neighbor Home. Deb enjoyed sewing and making alterations. She loved to bake, go on walks, and watching birds. Above all else, Deb loved her family and cherished spending time with them, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Larry Richmond of Manchester; two sons, Eric (Elizabeth) Richmond of Iowa City and Mark (Jaclyn) Richmond of Hiawatha; four grandchildren, Grace, Emma, Lydia, and Norah; one sister, Linda (Joe) Bright of Sterling; a brother-in-law, Gene Little of Rockford; and many nieces and nephews.
Deb was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, William; siblings, Janice Little, Marsha (Russell) Johnson, Karen Crow, and Evelyn (Dennis) Driessens; and her special great-aunt, DeLoras Hager.
