Debra "Memaw" Williams Seay, 72, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023. Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Odell Baston and Lucille McKinney Johnson and the wife of Randall Ira Seay. She was a member of Cherokee Springs Baptist Church for over twenty-five years,where she was the church clerk, hostess, custodian and purchasing agent. Memaw was a homemaker, baker, macaroni and cheese maker and Brianna's spaghetti maker.
Survivors also include her children, Michelle Mabry (Robbie), Todd Williams (Helen), Steven Williams and Billy Easler (Dawn); a sister, Adrian Baston; seven grandchildren, Dusty Mabry (Becky), Clay Mabry, Cody Mabry (Brittany), Brandon Williams (Abbie), Brianna Chastain (Jameson), Jesse Williams and Hart Williams; four great-grandchildren, Tucker, Lilleigh, Nova and Easton; her furry friend, Cooper; her BFF, Penny Parker; and special friends, Kenneth and Jennifer Crocker and children.
She was predeceased by her brother, Mike Baston.
Funeral services will be held at 2PM on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Cherokee Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Belton Drake and Rev. Michael Boyter officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1PM until 2PM prior to the service.
Interment will be held in the church cemetery.
